Handbuilding Techniques

Our handbuilding courses are at the heart of our introductory pottery courses options. Dig into the artistic potential of slab, pinch, and coil techniques, where you'll master the foundational methods of crafting ceramic pieces by hand. These courses let you unleash your imagination, exploring and creating unique forms and textures under the expert guidance of our instructors. Course Details

Our introductory pottery courses meet once a week for four or six weeks, with each class lasting two hours. Introductory pottery courses are designed for beginners as well as those with some experience seeking to refresh or improve their skills. Online registration is required to attend.

Practice and Progress

Learning in one of our introductory pottery courses is complemented with free time to practice. You will also enjoy access to our studio during Student Practice Time hours to further develop your skills when you register for one of our six-week introductory pottery courses,

Continuing Education and Memberships​

For those with experience, we offer Continuing Courses and Studio Memberships to further your pottery journey. If your desired course is full this session, consider exploring a different topic in the meantime.
